Tourneys

Since my last post, i won a mtt on VC there $5k gtd cashing for $1900 and today also i decided to give a few whill mtts a shot. I played there night express 2.5k gtd and a $2k gtd i made the final of both but placed 8th and 10th :(. The latter was particularly annoying, i had KK first hand of the final table , buton raised 3600 and sb went all in , he was one of only 2 people who had me covered , and although a part of me thought i could pass the logical side made me call, and he turned up AA.

Even though he had AA, Thinking back I really cant pass there. The button has raised and is quite short stacked, the sb knows that the button is desperate and will do that mvoe with hands as weak as A 10 i think. He doesnt expectr me to wake up with stronger then Ax, and moves all in to isolate. Oh well, 55 quid and $75 for those 2 final tables . 1st in both was around 800 quid which would have helped my roll but thats the way it goes.

I also played a 30 Freezeout today at notts casino and busted out about halfway thro the field with A8 vs 22 , very short stacked i took a stand , sad day when you cant beat 22 lol. Anyway despite not playing as much as i should be, when i am playing things are going relatively well. Hopefully I will have another mtt win or 2 to write about next time.

Turning Around

Since my last update things have improved , I ve cashed in my last 3 rebuys with fields of over 1,000 though my winnings from this mtt havent generated anything spectacular (around $1200), but i also played and won 2 consecutive heads up tourneys which cashed for $2,000 so the last 2 weeks have seen me get back to winning ways.
Last night I came 15th in the 55k for $600 losing AK to someone who called with 2 2 for a $1,300,000 pot which would have put me 2nd in chips at the time, 1st place paying $18,000 so that hurt a bit especially since he called with 2 2 and the fact i cant beat 2 2 lol.

That aside im happy with the way im playing again , and my roll on stars is growing. Still looking for a "big win" online but at least im winning.
